Awesome site. It brings back memories which have faded but not forgotten. If not for ARIA and the PMEEs I worked with and learned from, I probably never would have gotten this job at NASA. Thanks. Joseph D. Roberts, RF Operator (93-00).

Randy, I like your site. I grew up on the Space Coast (Florida) where there were 11 ARIA aircraft at Patrick AFB supporting the Apollo moon landing and other programs. I just purchased the AMtech kit to make. I'm trying to decide whether to build 10327 with or without the ALOTS. Sincerely, Greg Winter

This is in reference to the museum alert. My brother was in the ARIA program before leaving the USAF. He did some nose art on the birds as well. I would hate to see the museum not showcase this bird. As an outsider I don't know what I can do except express my opinion that the crews of ARIA deserve to have their bird in the museum. ARIA played a critical role in US aviation history and should be recognized. If a petition gets started, feel free to e-mail me for support at charlie@guerefamily.net

I really enjoyed your site. We were stationed at Patrick in early 70's. My Dad was a Crew Chief on the ARIA. I looked at some of the video and picutures and it brought back a lot of memories. I will be sending him the link. You have a great site keep up the good work.

In 1980 Robert Shropshire and myself, Paul Mathis were assigned as Crew chief and assistant. It had just came back from PDM and in the hanger to be remodded. I PCS'd before it came out. He and and I took 328 home from a TDY at KSC, one of my favorite trips. Though my time in the ARIA flt was short, it was the highlight of my 20 years. Paul E Mathis RET.

Randy Good job with the site, just found it tonight. It brings back all those great memories of flying with so many wonderful people for those five years, literally around the world. Great site, brings back lots of memories of great people and beautiful planes. I served in the 4950th AMS from Oct 85 until the Wing closed in Jun 94, I grew up in the Wing. I worked in the AMS Orderly Room, and then the OMS Orderly Room when we all merged. Some knew me as Tomi McCorkle, then Tomi Shafer...the blond in the orderly room. I was even fortunate enough to support ARIA directly a few times. The PMEEs were "my guys" and it was the one branch I felt closest too. If anyone remembers me and wants to look me up, my name is Tomi Emmerick now and I've crossed over to the dark side...I'm a contractor at Wright-Patt. Drop me a line at TomiEmmerick@excite.com.

DEAR AIRMAN LOSEY, I was not priveledged to have served with the crew of aria.In addition,I am dismayed to say that due to health reasons,I was the only male in my family not to serve in the armed forces. My grandfather spent along time over seas fighting for the freedoms that my wife, children and I enjoy today.I had relatives in vietnam that also fought for this country, and now friends and family in Iraq, protecting our freedoms as I type this.Although I never served,I still think, worry and lose sleep, and am no stranger to serving your country in these respects, for that's how I was raised,"defend the honor of your country and be proud" I can here my grandfather say.You see I too have memories of aria,I remember that day as a child. When I hear"aria" I think of the brave men and women who died that day and saddens me for thier families, but also makes me greatful that my best friend was not on that flight when he normally would have been.Thank You and all the men and women of aria for your dedication. Your Nephew, BRAD
