Randy, I just stumbled across this site and am very impressed. I am John Jentz. I was a Sgt in the radio shop of the 6549th CEMS at Patrick AFB from Aug 1967 to Oct 1970. During my time there I saw the Gemini C-130's leave and the ARIA's arrive. I deployed in the back of C-140's, along with all of our equipment, in support of Apollo 8-13. I got to see the world, Hawaii, Guam, Darwin Aus, Perth Aus, Brisbane Aus, Mauritius, Johannesburg SA, Ascension Is, American Samoa, Fiji, and Wake Is. It was a great adventure in support of something truly extraordinary, putting men on the moon. I did not know of 328's fate until reading this site. My deepest sympathies to all who lost loved ones and friends. I feel like I lost an old friend as I spent many hours fixing HF transmitters, TWA's, and all of the other comm equipment on 328 and the rest of the fleet. jentz@comcast.net
